You can add a lot of dimension to your personal fundraising page and raise more money by adding a YouTube video.   If you are a little hesitant about writing producing and starring in your own video, trust me, you don’t have to be Steven Spielberg to do this.  It’s pretty simple. Here’s how to do it in three easy steps.

Step One: Upload a video of yourself to YouTube using your digital camera or your computer’s webcam.

Step Two: Add your YouTube video onto your Giveforward fundraising page by pasting the “embed code” in the “Edit Your Fundraiser” section of GiveForward.

• Note: To the right of your video on Youtube you will see two links.  One says “URL” and one says “Embed”  Make sure to copy and paste the “embed code” (NOT the URL) to your GiveForward fundraising page.

Step Three: Email your friends to let them know how awesome you are and that you’ve added a video to your personal fundraising page.  Ask them to give you lots of money.  If possible, try to have rich friends.
